Conditions for Company Registration in Macau, China

(1) Number of shareholders: Generally, there are 2 people, with a maximum of 30 people, regardless of nationality. A Macau company allows one shareholder, but the certificate will display "one person limited company"

(2) Directors and secretaries: Shareholders must appoint one or more directors to be responsible for the management of the company, and directors are not limited to nationality (in addition, Macau Limited does not need to appoint a legal secretary)

(3) Registered address: The registered address of the Macau company must be provided

(4) Registered capital: At least 25000 MOP, no upper limit (above 25000 will incur stamp duty)

(5) Registered capital stamp tax and registration fee: The government charges a stamp tax of 1% to 4% based on the actual registered capital amount
